~Examine Yourself!

2 Corinthians 13:5 "Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test?"

    Too bad that Washer doesn't use the right scripture.
    This verse says test yourselves to see if you are in the faith. How do we do that washer says all kind of things and misses the point of the scripture......the scripture says "does Jesus Christ live in you", unless you fail the test (that he doesn't).

    To believe is to have Christ in you. Also when You obey God it shows that you Believe. Obeying God isn't what gets you into Heaven it's the Faith or belief, The obeying just proves the faith is real. Also we don't obey God to prove are faith, We obey because we love him. Therefore, Because we love Jesus, We obey him, Us obeying him proves are faith in him, and it's are faith that causes a gracious God to save us. Where does the faith come from? God gives everyone a measure of faith when they hear the gospel and by his creation.... John 6:29 is clear that we are responsible for keeping our faith... To sum it up, If your not obeying God, Then you fail the test. One might argue Jesus said that he will never leave me nor forsake me, We'll he didn't, You left him when you stopped obeying him and you started following after the one you obey.
